The final round of the Acme Wheelers Hill Climb Series was cancelled due to bad weather. This ensured that Paul Harries was confirmed as the series winner with 118 points. This series was dominated by Paul in what is his debut season with the club. Runner up spot went to Tony Rees, with 94 points. His consistency over the past four months saw him achieve the same position in the 5 mile time trial series. Jason Dodd finished in third place with 88 points. This is a great result for Jason who recovered from an injury at the start of the year to gain a podium position.

Club Chairman, Roger Evans, is seen here presenting the series trophy to Paul, flanked by runners-up Tony [right] and Jason.

Eighteen members of the club contested this series over six events that started in May. All the competitors wish to thank Gwyn Humphries, Carol Dietman and everyone else who officiated and marshalled this series and the 5 mile series. Without their dedication and commitment these events would not take place. The final Hill Climb Series table is shown below.
